Bobbi Barbour has been an entrepreneur ever since she can remember. At the age of eight she started creating greeting cards to sell to relatives for some extra cash. “Cards and More” proved to be quite profitable for the South Bay native. She realized that personality could sell almost anything.
At age twelve, Bobbi got her first computer. Her life would never be the same. Bobbi pursued her love of writing by publishing an e-zine where she staffed young writers from all over to contribute. Soon after she started making websites to publish her writings and daily journal.
By age fourteen, Bobbi's first written piece was published in TWIST magazine. She joined YM Magazine's news crew at age sixteen, where she would regularly contribute to the magazine for the next couple of years.
Bobbi became inspired to start a new website, Dollfacepunk to further pursue her writing. As the site became more popular she added a handbag line that she designed and sold on the site. She later would team up with Cafepress to have an entire t-shirt line. A feature in TIME magazine brought Dollfacepunk to the next level.
Bobbi earned a bachelor's degree in public relations, cum laude, from California State University Long Beach. She currently lives in sunny Los Angeles where she works as buyer and marketing manager for a boutique in Hermosa Beach by day and works freelance events and promotions by night.
Bobbi has decided to get back to her roots and will debut a greeting card line in Spring ’09.
